Step-by-step instructions for the new Watch Face Format (WFF). Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch, and all Wear OS 5+ devices.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the same Google account is logged in on both your phone and your Wear OS watch.
If your devices use different accounts, the watch won't recognize your phone's purchase, and the Play Store may prompt you to buy it again.
How to Check the Google Account on Your Wear OS Watch:
On your watch, open Settings (gear icon).
Scroll down and tap Google or Accounts & backup.
Tap Google Account.
The email address shown here must match the email address where you received the Google Play purchase receipt.
If everything matches and the issue persists, it may be a Play Store sync delay. In that case, installing the watch face directly from the phone Play Store usually resolves the issue.
Note: Download icon should appear on your watch
– In the phone companion app, tap Install to wearable; the listing will appear on your watch, then follow the on-watch install steps. (1. via watch)
– To activate the watch face, long-press your current watch face, swipe left, tap + Add watch face, choose the new design or apply it from the Pixel Watch, Galaxy Wearable, or Fossil app on your phone.
Important Reminder
– If Google Play asks for payment again, it might be a sync issue. Try toggling ‘Airplane Mode‘ on your watch to reset the connection.
– Google will only bill you once for purchases made with the same Google Account. Any additional charges will be automatically reversed.
